Michelle R. Reeves is a Senior Litigation Associate working primarily in the Central Florida office of Simoes Davila, PLLC. Ms. Reeves’ extensive professional experience and knowledge in the field of medical and healthcare insurance claims and management brings a uniquely strong ability to understand the medical and claims aspects of each case, and she utilizes this knowledge to assist her clients. She worked for major insurers for 12 years in the healthcare insurance field, including claims management, billing/eligibility, pharmacy management, auditing and regulatory compliance.

Ms. Reeves has been a full time civil litigator and a member of the Florida Bar since 2010, and has handled cases ranging from very simple to very complex in most venues throughout the State of Florida. She is admitted to practice law in all Florida state courts, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida.

Ms. Reeves began her career working at a boutique firm specializing in PIP (Personal Injury Protection) matters, automobile liability, trucking accidents, and general liability. Prior to joining Simoes Davila, PLLC, Ms. Reeves was employed by Florida’s largest insurance defense law firm, litigating wrongful death, negligent security, premises liability, hurricane claims and other property damage, subrogation, and insurance coverage issues.

Ms. Reeves graduated from the University of Houston Bauer College of Business with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration and a focus on Operations Management in 2003. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from Barry University School of Law, where she was an active member and leader of the school’s national award winning Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program.
